The head of Microsoft's Xbox 360 business in Japan, Takashi Sensui, has announced that prices for the console will be cut in the country from September 11th.
At the low end, the Arcade falls 30% from ¥27,800 (£143 or €176) to ¥19,800 (£102 or €125.50). This is followed by the Elite at ¥39,800 (£205 or €252) down 17% from ¥47,800 (£246 or €303).
Aside from price cuts, Sensui also indicated that a ¥29,800 yen (£153 or €189) 60Gb version of the console will also be coming to Japan.
