Microsoft has cut the price of the Xbox 360 in four Asian territories - Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore.
The news comes via Bloomberg, which reports that "a basic version" (presumably the Core) will drop in price by as much as 20%.
In Taiwan there will be a price cut of 17%, taking it to NT$10,360 (£172). The cut will be by 11% in Hong Kong, while in South Korea the 360 will drop 5.1% to 369,000 won (£187). Singapore gets the biggest cut, with 20% being shaved off the price, bringing it down to S$499 (£186).
The last time the UK saw an Xbox 360 price cut was back in March
, when Microsoft aggressively brought the price of its Core offering to below that of the Wii.Source: Bloomberg
