Never Mind the Buzzcocks - It's Video Game Awards Time

Tousle-headed media imp, Simon Amstell - he of Popworld and Never Mind the Buzzcocks' fame - has been signed up to host this year's MCV Excellence Awards. Yes, an actual celebrity who we've all actually heard of! It's all so very flattering... and a good deal by the august industry organ that is MCV±.
The awards are being held on April 10th down at The Brewery in London. There, the Never Mind the Buzzcocks presenter will stand up in front of 600 games industry executives as he spews forth his trademark wit and reminds us of when Popworld was funny as well as pretty.
SPOnG just wishes Amstell's partnership with the lovely Miquita Oliver could be resurrected. Just for one night? Or what about a Wii game? Please? No? Looks like we'll have to drag our gritty Northern-selves out of bed for the T4 channel to get our fix of the lovely Miquita, then.
