Japanese gaming 'bible'
Famitsu has captured special images not only of Super Mario Galaxy but of the great man Shigeru Miyamoto playing the damned thing - or at least holding a Wii Remote and looking jolly pleased with himself.
There's all sorts of spooky, ghost house action - but in that cute and cuddley way that you'd expect from a Wii game that isn't Scarface or other non-family fun. And don't be too scared at the site of what is apparently a dead Mario reanimated in ghost form (still cute, mind).
We're might relieved that Shiggy's prepared to appear in the same magazine as a genuine video game given his
recent antics with Wii Fit and that terrifying quote, "One game that I wanted to introduce to you all at E3 this year was not
Super Mario Galaxy, not
Zelda for the Nintendo DS, and not
Mario Kart, it's this game
Wii Fit."
Hopefully the great man is back on track.
You can check out the full scans being hosted at
Neogaf - there are also scans of a 4-page Miyamoto interview, so get your best Japanese pal over to translate immediately (ours is currently in Kuala Lumpur). Then head to our dedicated Super Mario Galaxy page right
