Sony Announces Cheese-tastic Indie-Pop karaoke game

SingStar Pop Hits, the latest PS2 version in Sony’s increasingly-popular party/karaoke series is due to drop in Europe this coming April, a SCEE-penned press release has just this minute informed us.
The game features an unashamedly populist, some may say cheese-heavy, collection of pop, and indie/rock-lite choons, with ‘highlights’ including:
All Saints - Black Coffee
Britney Spears - Baby One More Time
P!nk - Who Knew
U2 - Beautiful Day
Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood
Goldfrapp - Oh La La
Jamelia - Beware Of The Dog
Scissor Sisters - I Don’t Feel Like Dancing
Sugababes - Push The Button
Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous
Lemar - It’s Not That Easy
James Morrison - You Give Me Something
Whatever your take on Britney’s latest hair-scalping shenanigans in Los Angeles over the weekend, and whatever your take on what makes good music, you have to admit that at some point, at some as-yet-unplanned party in the future, it’s highly likely that you will be blasting out Baby One More Time after imbibing a sufficient amount of SCL (Strong Continental Lager).
