System 3: 25 Years Young
UK indie-publisher, System 3, has just announced that 2007 marks its 25th anniversary. This year will be one of celebration for the company, including some re-launches of classic titles.

Hitting the 25 year mark is no mean feat in an industry still in its petulant youth. In the name of celebration, 2007 will see System 3 continue its launch onto all the next-gen platforms with some well-established franchises. It's already made its Wii debut with Super Fruitfall and Gottlieb Pinball Classics. Other games marking System 3's next-gen push will be Impossible Mission, California Games and Last Ninja from the Epyx catalogue.

System 3 CEO, Mark Cale, is naturally pretty chuffed, commenting: "It's hard to believe that we've been here for 25 years. We've seen a lot of changes in the industry and lots of people, systems and ideas come and go. One thing has stayed the same though - great games will always stand the test of time".

System 3 is expected to announce its marketing plan for 2007 shortly. Expect it to contain several major licenses as well as a high-profile sponsorship programme.

Check back for more details later when SPOnG talks to System 3.

Another Visitor...Stay a while...Staaaay forever!

Brilliant.

I was like the only person I know who actually understood that...had to hook up an old C64 once to prove it to someone, and win a bar bet...

I have this mental comparison in my head with the gaming industry like a 13-year old teenage girl.

Drunk, eager to do the most stupid things to gain social acceptance and loud-mouthed for mostly no reason at all...and not prone to reason at all...thinks it's special but isn't.

Now i'm thinking i've written down the characteristics of Sony's PR and Peter Moore...

See, schrinks are a waste of money, only thing you need is a good brit-forum.
