Cat Games has just registered its two millionth online games player. Ten thousand new players now sign up for Cat Games game communities every week, confirming the London-based company as one of the world’s leading creators and publishers of massively multi-player online management games.

While attracting millions of end-user customers, Cat Games has also built up a strong range of partnerships with top global brands in sport and media. These include the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer, Sky Sports, Eurosport, Wanadoo, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and almost every significant UK football club website. A baseball game is set to launch soon in association with Major League Baseball.

The two millionth registration took place on Cat Games’ online ice hockey game, SeniorLeagueHockey, the premier online management game of the NHL.

Cat Games’ other products include: SundayLeague, the world’s leading online football management game, with over 1.2 million players and the upcoming BushLeagueBaseball.

The funny, cartoon-style games are free to play, but generate revenue for Cat Games and partners through an innovative system of in-game options, which require credits. Credits are priced from just £1 via premium SMS up to £30 via credit card.

New Cat Games launches planned for 2005 include a ground-breaking music game and another sports game, again in partnership with a world-leading sporting brand.
