Popular platform character teaches kids Maths, Reading and English.

ECTS 3 September 2000 - Ubi Soft® Entertainment is set to deliver three volumes of Rayman edutainment titles on PlayStation. The Rayman Educational Platform Games (working title) use a unique arcade / education concept which combines Raymans traditional action-packed platform worlds with a strong learning theme, as children strive to rescue the Magic Book of Knowledge from the evil Mr. Dark.

These titles take a very different and enlightened approach to edutainment by working the exercises into the game rather than the game into the exercises. The addictive and acclaimed gameplay of the original 6 million selling Rayman title is used to seamlessly present children with 600 questions through 12 reading and counting activities. It's stealth-education!

This new Rayman series marks the arrival of some of the first PlayStation games within the traditionally PC based edutainment genre. The move onto a console format brings the learning experience a more familiar and accessible feel for younger players while making the process less time consuming for parents.

Key Features:
· 60 levels based on the award winning multi-million selling gameplay of the original Rayman game.

· Unique and child-friendly educational concept - and one of the first edutainment titles on PlayStation.

· 6 stunning worlds to explore.
