All new Xbox Live functionality will be added to the full game enabling up to 12 online gamers to compete head-to-head in the most realistic, most intense and aggressive racing championships seen in any Xbox motorsport game. The game also now includes System Link play for up to 12 consoles.
Incredibly, the new dedicated Xbox Live mode unlocks TOCA Race Driver's entire range of 42 real touring and sports cars, 12 championships and 38 internationally renowned race circuits and lets gamers race for supremacy in FreeStyle races.
Complete with Quick Match, Optimatch and fully featured Friends support, TOCA Race Driver also features voice support through the Communicator headset. Now when you're burning up the track, you'll be able to hear your opponents in the nearest two cars and, more likely, yell abuse at the vicious driver who just slammed into you.
In Live play, the adrenaline-surging races will feature up to 12 cars on track at once. The game will auto-detect players' online connection and set the optimum number of racers - both AI-drivers and human - for a session based on the speed of their connection.
And with most of the cars in direct player control, motor sport's most aggressive exhibition of close contact racing results in spectacular collisions and full realistic damage.
TOCA Race Driver is already the most realistic car racing experience and its Xbox edition is acclaimed as the definitive version. The added Xbox Live racing delivers gameplay that's more thrilling, more unpredictable and more emotional than ever before.
The complete game with Live support will be published by Codemasters late October with a new RRP £29.99 making TOCA Race Driver the must-have motorsport game on Xbox.
