London, May 2000 – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced plans to release Chase the Express to the PAL market in September 2000. Developed in-house by Sugar & Rocket at Sony Computer Entertainment Incorporated, Chase the Express is a fast paced, action adventure set on a high-speed train.
Gamers take the role of the main character, American Air Force Lieutenant, Jack Morton. Highly valued for his exceptional combat skills, Morton has been posted to various air bases throughout the world and has participated in many NATO peace-keeping operations.
Blue Harvest is a NATO developed high-speed transcontinental train. Designed to evacuate and transport large numbers of refugees isolated from their home countries due to internal disputes and conflicts.
The French Ambassador to Russia travels with his family from St Petersburg to Paris on Blue Harvest’s maiden voyage. Flying above the train is a NATO escort of three helicopters manned by special agents. For additional protection, troops and agents are positioned throughout the train.
As the train approaches the Ukrainian border, a number of terrorists ambush Blue Harvest, forcing their way inside the train to capture the ambassador’s wife, daughter and finally the ambassador himself.
Only one man can save the Ambassador and his family from certain death…
