SplitFish Selects All-Star Playstation 3 Game Tournament Team
Today peripheral maker SplitFish GameWare Inc announced it has formed a PlayStation 3 team to compete in online game play and tournaments.
Each of the four qualifying men and one woman selected to be part of the team will receive a Sony PlayStation 3 console and will participate in the final beta testing process for SplitFish's upcoming FragFX competition controller, ideal for maximizing the shooter game experience on the PlayStation 3 console.
The following five gamers that have been notified, were selected out of a large number of applicants across the United States and Canada to represent SplitFish in PlayStation 3 game competition:
Dennis (Pennsylvania) Favorite Game: Socom
Mark (California) Favorite Game: GTA Series
Tyler (Tennessee) Favorite Game: Socom
Colleen (Ontario) Favorite Game: Resident Evil 4
Steve (Indiana) Favorite Game: Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
"We would like to thank the many talented game players that applied," said Ken Tetterington, SplitFish President. "This is the first official SplitFish Gaming Team and we're looking forward to having a lot of fun with them."
Final decisions were made based on a combination of years played, style of preferred game, grammar, articulation, the realization that school and work should be a priority and the overall skills mix SplitFish sought. Each new team member is in the process of receiving a PlayStation 3 unit and will start to practice on line with Resistance Fall of Man. Each team member will have gamer tags starting with SplitFish.
