Phil joined the computer game industry in 1994 as a designer and community support rep for Kesmai Corporation, a multiplayer game company. While there, he contributed to the software engineering process as a member of the quality assurance group, and helped define a suite of community development tools useful across all aspects of the Kesmai gaming community. Phil became a producer after contributing to the design of the upcoming Battletech 3025, among other projects. Phil came to Red Storm seeking new challenges in November 1999.
