Andy obtained a BA in Mathematics and Law from Cambridge University. After creating and selling a successful Amstrad PCW software house, he entered the games industry in 1992. Andy programmed the hit Amiga game Zeewolf and lead the development of several other projects for Bath-based studio Binary Asylum, including most recently the soon-to-be-released Star Trek: New Worlds for Interplay.

Andy Wilton's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1995 title, "Zeewolf 2" (Amiga) as Level/Map Design.
