Still can't find an internet connection with your 3DS? Well, a new partnership between Nintendo and mobile operator O2 should hopefully have you covered. The deal provides additional Wi-Fi locations for 3DS and 3DS XL handhelds in thousands of locations across the UK.Nintendo already has a public Wi-Fi service in place in certain areas - when 3DS owners walk within such an area, an app pops up called Nintendo Zone, allowing users to connect and get access to demos and other lovely features.
O2 has a pretty huge reach, with locations and venues covered by its Wi-Fi service including: McDonalds, Debenhams, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, House of Fraser, Toby Carvery, and public venues like The O2, Twickenham, Bluewater and Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea areas of Central London.
So if you ever wanted to kill some time online with a game, or see what Nintendo Zone has to offer, now you have more locations in which to do that. Pretty smart.
