A former Ubisoft artist has been having a little bit of fun, creating Assassin's Creed 'fan art' in an attempt to answer one of the most important questions in history - who would win in a fight between Altair and Ezio?
Benoit Perreault posted three images on his portfolio website, for a made-up game titled Assassin's Creed: Duel. It's designed in the style of a fighting game, and pits two of Desmond Miles' ancestors in a battle to the death. A brawler would be the obvious choice for a spinoff, should Ubisoft want to go down that route. It's a great selection of sub-official-fan-art, to be sure.
Just to make the point absolutely clear, though, Perreault's website has a pretty big disclaimer. "The Assassin's Creed: Duel images were only done as fan art. They were not commissionned by Ubisoft, and are not from a real game." So don't go jumping to conclusions.
