Borderlands 2 was one of the finest games to be released on disc last year. That is not in dispute. So to celebrate - and also to coincide with the release of the game's upcoming "Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt" DLC - Gearbox is staging a weekend of fun and frolics.
Today, players who log into Pandora whilst connected to the internet will be able to loot some insane shotguns in certain areas of the game. No details as to where exactly these powerful weapons lie, but you have until tomorrow at 4:55pm GMT to find one before they disappear.
There are more activities planned for tomorrow (and assumedly Sunday as well), so keep an eye on Gearbox's website here for more details as and when they become active.
