Business is business and in this business that we call, "The Videogames... Business" just because you detest one product for one company and think that company to be ruining the Open Platform revolution, doesn't mean that you can sell four million copies of the game you helped to birth on another product. Minecraft, you see has sold four million (4,000,000) units on Xbox 360.
The father of the game, Notch, said last week that, "I'd rather have minecraft not run on win 8 at all than to play along. Maybe we can convince a few people not to switch to win 8 that way." This week, 4J Studios., the company that has taken the more-than-cult-favourite to the console from the PC said this:
"Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!"
In the current climate, that's great news. For the record, Notch is correct in this opinion about certification of games on the PC.
