Whoops. Capcom has made another box art boo boo - this time in the form of a typo on early US copies of Resident Evil: Revelations. Journalists had a good giggle when they noticed that the spine of the box was written as "Resident Evil: Revelaitons."
Now the game doesn't sound scary. It just sounds like some kind of science investigation. "Now, who can tell me about the cause and effect of the revelaitons?" That would make for an amazing game actually. Not really.
Capcom has said that the first production run of the game will feature the error, making for a fantastic collector's edition for all those who like hoarding banal stuff like this. It may go for high price, so get in early.
"We apologise for the mistake, which will be corrected for subsequent productions of the game," a statement said. "We are working on a solution to provide affected customers with the correct packaging."
You might recall this isn't the first time Capcom has made a bit of a mess of its box art. In 2008, it was discovered that it used a watermarked image from IGN for the cover of the Wii version of Okami. Those were simpler times...
