In commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario, Nintendo of Japan has released a special edition DSi XL as part of the company's celebrations of the famed platforming plumber.
The pictures show a red DSi XL (called the DSi LL in Japan) with the words 'SUPER MARIO BROS 25th Anniversary) inscribed on the outer casing of the portable games machine, together with the power-up icons for a super mushroom, fire flower and invincibility star.
The Anniversary Edition DSi XL will be available from October 28th for ¥18,000 (roughly £136) for those of you who are die-hard Mario fans and may want to import one.
You're not looking bad for 25, Mario.
