The slugfest between EA and Activision over former Infinity Ward staff has turned a bit... weird.
Following Activision bragging about just how well the Modern Warfare 2 maps have done (prompting the company to up its fiscal outlook) EA's director of corporate communications, Jeff Brown, told Kotaku, "This is kind of like announcing: The race horse I shot last month has won the Triple Crown!"
Err... sure?
This follows former Infinity Ward chiefs Jason West and Vince Zampella setting up new developer Respawn, complete with a publishing deal with EA. More Infinity Ward staff walked out just a couple of days ago.
