Assassin's Creed 2 has been a revelation to me. After being massively uninspired by the first game, I was not looking forward to the second,and I did not play it on release.
I had to play it recently for an awards ceremony I was a judge at. I gave each game in the shortlist five hours. But Assassins creed sucked me in and I am now 22 hours in. The game is massive and fabulous, one of the best I have ever played. The story is not a painful adjunct, but is woven carefully into the gameplay. The side missions are compelling, and fit seamlessly into the game, the Tomb Raiding parts are excellent. I love this game.
I have completed all six Assassin Tombs,so I'm going to finish it before I play the DLC.
