Alton Towers Gets Sonic the Hedgehog - Pix

Posted by Staff
Sega Europe has announced a three-year partnership with theme park Alton Towers, which gives the publisher exclusive computer game rights and a 'Ride and Stay' experience featuring Sonic the Hedgehog.

One of the resort's roller-coasters is set to get a makeover in honour of this deal, introducing the 'Sonic Spinball' ride to accompany a Sonic-themed hotel room where visitors can play the latest games. The roller-coaster and hotel room are both to open publicly on the 13th February 2010.

Svend SPOnG will be there, scrambling for tickets at the main gate. Will you join him, or avoid making a pillock of yourself?]
