LA Times about the downturn in video game sales in 2009 (and the 4% rise in sales in December), the Wedbush Morgan analysts came up with the following:
"Thank God this is behind us. The momentum is moving in the right direction, particularly as we lap miserable music sales."
Most of it makes analyst-sense, but what the hell does "lap miserable music sales" mean?
A prize for the most plausible explanation.
