Nintendo, Capcom Lead Lawsuit Against R4 Sellers
Don't say Nintendo aren't good on their word. After a legal crackdown on sellers of the R4 Revolution device in Japan, Nintendo, Capcom and 53 other Nintendo DS software manufacturers are taking said distributors to the cleaners, filing a lawsuit that seeks to get compensation for their losses.

The lawsuit has been filed in the Tokyo District Court, and are looking to prevent the sale of the R4, which allows users to download Nintendo DS ROMs and play them on their handhelds without issue.

"We are expecting the entire society, including users, to recognise that our company and other software manufacturers have extremely sustained damages from proliferation of illegal instruments such as the Game Copying Devices," Capcom said in an official statement.

Back in February, the court actually made the selling and importing of this device illegal, but Capcom has said that this hasn't stopped its distribution at all.

Apparently vendors were ignoring countless requests to stop selling the R4, which the publisher said had forced the legal action.
