President Obama: Xbox hater, iPhone lover
US president, Barack Obama, made a speech to the children of Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia today in order to inspire them to achieve their dreams and ambitions - and couldn't resist name checking a few gaming platforms while doing it.

In addressing youngsters about the responsibilities their parents have in keeping them focused, the Xbox was mentioned as a means to distract kids from school activities: "I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox."

Now it's been publicised that President Obama is a bit of a gamer, which begs the (altogether not too serious, mind) question - PlayStation fanboy, or simply naming a brand that resonates with the young'uns?

With all that said, the US leader moved onto what the possibilities could be for today's youth - the results of sticking with school and cramming for exams and making it in the big bad world. "Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor – maybe even good enough to come up with the next iPhone or a new medicine or vaccine – but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class."

President Obama: Xbox hater, iPhone lover? You decide.
