, in its six months on sale, has clocked up a hefty 11 million sales. According to Activision's CEO and president of publishing, Michael Griffith, 20% of those sales were to first-time Call of Duty
The Call of Duty
franchise has shifted 35 million games in its lifetime.
Pre-orders for Modern Warfare 2
are at what Griffith called record-breaking levels.
Griffith reckons there's plenty of scope to take Call of Duty
