Left 4 Dead Tops 2.5 Million

Valve has confirmed that its survival horror title, Left 4 Dead, has topped 2.5 million sales at retail.

This came from project lead Michael Booth in a Game Developers Conference talk on the game.

Note that that's 2.5 million at retail. While the figure includes both PC and Xbox 360 sales of the game, it does not include downloads of it via Valve's online games platform, Steam.
