Nintendo has confirmed that
Rhythm Paradise (dubbed
Rhythm Tengoku Gold in Japan,
Rhythm Heaven in the US) is coming to the UK.
The title, which pretty much wears its genre on its sleeve, contains, according to Nintendo, "50 music based mini-games and rhythm toys".
It features characters and graphics that are "off-the-wall", Nintendo says. It gives some examples that go as follows: "you will keep the beat with dancing monkeys, karate chopping men, or even serenading lizards."
The music consists of original compositions by Japanese producer, “Tsunku”♂.
It's sold 1.6 million copies in Japan. Expect it on May 1st.
SPOnG's man in Japan, Martin Olsen, already looked at the Japanese version.
