NHL 2K7 is a must-buy for any fans of the sport and Hi-Def on ice. The game has breathtaking next generation graphics that the publishers 2K Sports have imaginatively entitled Cinemotion. You could be forgiven for believing that you were actually watching the game live on television with the amazing presentation. All-new crossover, gliding, turning and puck handling animations deliver a new look and feel to gameplay. Another new feature of the game is ProControl. This is where the right analog controls have been expanded to bring a far deeper level of action to the ice with improved passing and shooting mechanics.
A new chemistry system has been introduced to NHL 2K7. The system mirrors today's NHL, as division rivalries heat up and home advantage really does make a difference. Both factors make the game by far the most realistic in the series. Audio Intuition is another feature which adds realism to proceedings. On-ice communication (which is, it must be said, mostly shouting) plays a key role in every game, as coaches and players call out offensive opportunities and critical defensive situations.
