Summary

Six months have passed since the release of the epic Morrowind in May 2002. Considering the size and depth of the title, six months is probably an appropriate amount of time to leave before the release of an expansion pack. This is exactly what developers Bethesda have done, giving players enough time to complete the original before introducing additional features and content into the virtual world with this add-on, Tribunal.

Following on from the open-ended tale of the original game, Tribunal presents an entirely new quest, as well as new characters and environments. A ruthless new king has taken the throne of Morrowind, while an ageing god drifts deeper into madness. You are thrust into this chaos with deadly assassins close behind you and Morrowind's uncertain future ahead. Your journey takes you to Mournhold, capital city of Morrowind, to the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil, and through massive, epic-sized dungeons.

Strange and deadly creatures await you in Tribunal, including goblins, lich lords, and the mysterious Fabricants. Not to worry though, as a range of powerful new armour and weapons can be found to aid you in your survival. Also new to this expansion pack is the ability to document your adventures in an improved journal system and an annotatable map.

One of the most decorated RPGs of recent times, the adventure of Morrowind just got even bigger. Fans of the game will love this.
