Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution - Switch

It doesn't get much bigger for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans than this Switch outing, Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution. Over 20 years of anime infused, card battling action are packed onto this cart, making it a beast of a game for this franchise. It's basically a straightforward take on the physical card game writ large and it comes with more than nine thousand cards in total (nine thousand!!!), basically just about every card ever printed for this venerable series. All the DLC from the original release of Legacy of the Duelist is packed in, so you'll have a LOT to go at.

Players can make their way through every major anime storyline, starting back at the original Yu-Gi-Oh and running all the way through to VRains, battling their favourite duellists as they go using the current rules of the card game. By working your way through each storyline you'll unlock cards and decks. There aren't any microtransactions here, so it's all about your skill with the cards.

You can do battle with other players either locally or online, but if you'd rather sharpen up your skills first you could jump into the tutorial (which is a great place for newcomers to jump in, by the way).

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is a real milestone for the series and a great place for fans new and old to jump in. more
