Summary
In Ultrawings you can take your Nintendo Switch and use it to soar over a virtual environment. In it you become a pilot, settling into your cockpit to fly different planes over a series of different landscapes below you.
Before you get too far ahead of yourself, however, you'll need to earn your pilot's license. Basic health and safety, right? A few quick challenges will teach you the basics by having you learn the plane's controls, take off and fly through a series of targets before landing safely. That will mean using your Nintendo Switch Joy-con controllers to open a fuel valve, turning on a magneto with the flip of a switch and firing up the engine with the push of a button before using the throttle to control the speed. The point here is that the developers are really going for it when it comes to immersing you in your cockpit, giving you as close to a real experience of flying as possible.
Once you re ready to go you'll take on a series of jobs to earn in-game money, upgrading your plane and home base as you go.
This isn't really a game that s about missions or progression, though, it's about the sheer, unadulterated joy of flying delivered by the immersive use of your Nintendo Switch!
