Summary
The premise of Our World is Ended seems like a dream come true at first glance, but anyone who s rage quit a JRPG will instantly see the problems that the game's protagonists face.
When characters, environments and creatures from within video games start appearing in the three dimensional real world things start getting really messy really fast. It falls to Judgment 7, a team of loveable but eccentric video game developers to navigate the tricky space between the world of Tokyo's Asakusa district and the world of video games so that they can restore balance between the two worlds.
Our World is Ended is a visual novel, meaning players must adopt characters and guide them through a host of narrative options to try and steer the team (and the world) through the pandemonium to a happy ending.
There are over 40 hours of gameplay packed into Our World is Ended, with tons of conversation options and a fun art style. There's a lot of cheesecake in there, but the development team's love of their characters really shines through. It's all very meta stuff and a fun sci-fi high concept for fans of anime, manga or just video games to jump into the visual novel genre with. Just remember, it's not safe for work!
