Summary

Aragami is a game of stealth, magic and murder.

You play as the titular Aragami, an undead assassin with the power of 'shadow control'. Control, yes, but dependency too. Stick to the shadows and you'll be strong and you'll keep up your powers. Stray from them for too long and you'll become a sitting duck for every ne'er do well in the army of light. And, frankly, you have a job to do. You have to rescue a young girl trapped by said army, so you don't have any time to go and get yourself done in.

Controlling the shadows, you have an array of powers at your disposal. The most prominent is the ability to teleport between shadows - an obvious advantage when there are a lot of guards to be sneaking past. But you can also create your own shadows, and as you progress you'll develop new skills such as the ability to vanish away enemy corpses like the stains on the environment they are.

You'll find influences here like the Tenchu Saga and more recent stealth-'em-ups such as Mark of the Ninja and Dishonored. There are multiple paths through the open levels, leaving you to carve your own path through the game. Be warned, though, if you get spotted and find yourself in open combat, you're in big trouble. Always have an eye on your escape route!

Murder in the shadows awaits!
