Summary
That Kaos is never going to tire of his evil ways, is he? He's got a new scheme to take over the Skylands, and it falls to Portal Masters everywhere to stop him.
There's a twist this time out, however. Portal Masters are no longer limited to the existing Skylanders that have made this toys-to-life videogame series so beloved. Nope, now they can create their own. Players are offered immense possibilities, able to swap out limbs, heads, bodies, weapons and powers to create their own hybrid heroes. They can even change up their music and catchphrase. These new characters won't be left out of the thing that's made Skylanders such a success, either - they can be saved to a physical Creation Crystal and taken anywhere, just like the pre-existing Skylanders!
If you're not just new to the Switch but new to Skylanders too there's nothing to worry about. The Switch version comes with access to a huge digital library that gives players the ability to load over 300 toys from the franchise, as well as making use of the Switch's unique functionality.
Also new this time out are the Skylanders Senseis, new heroes from 10 powerful Battle Classes such as Knight, Sorcerer, Bowslinger, Brawler, and more. These guys will train up the new Imaginator creations, offering benefits such as new weapons, Secret Techniques, access to special areas of the game and their own special Sky-Chi super moves! There are 31 senseis joining the fight, alongside the virtually infinite number of possible Imaginators!
