Summary
A new controller demands a sport compilation even if that controller is Kinect for the Xbox 360. The Kinect controller is, after all, the gamer's entire body.
Kinect Sports is Rare and Microsoft's own sports compilation for the console and the controller. It comes with a variety of sports for single and multiplayer activities.
The six sports involved in the first game are: Ten-pin Bowling; Boxing; Track and field; Table Tennis, Football (Or 'Soccer') and Volleyball.
All of the events can be be played out on Xbox Live. They also feature the ability for multiple players to drop in and out of each activity. With Xbox Avatars featuring heavily there is also plenty of personalisation possible.
With Kinect Sports Season 2, the addition of a brand new Challenge Play mode brings everyone together through Xbox Live allowing players to leave challenges for people at home or friends online. New sports brought into the mix include American Football, Golf, Baseball, Tennis, Darts and Skiing.
Playing Season Two is even easier with the introduction of in-game voice control to race through menus and switch their on-screen equipment. There's also the new In and Out facility lets players quit out to catch their breath without having to stop the fun for everyone else. One of the best party games on the Kinect has just got better.
