Game Party Champions - Wii U

With a new console generation comes a new entry in the popular Game Party franchise. Game Party Champions sounds like a manly and heroic game - and it pretty much is. Because if you think you’re good with a Wii Remote, you’ll need to be twice that to be able to master the Wii U GamePad and all that it has to offer. You’ll also need to be better than your friends and family, as per usual.

But that’s an easy task, right? Well, don’t be too hasty. That’s what the Story Mode is there for - it allows multiple players to test their mettle against each other to prove that they're worthy of the title, “World Champion.” There’s also a Quick Play option for those who just want to prove themselves in one particular game, to make a point and show someone who's boss.

Then there’s Party Mode, a multiplayer affair in which the Wii U GamePad is passed around and used to complete challenges, while the other players try to distract them using the Wii Remotes. Mini-games such as ping pong and skill ball join modern favourites such as table hockey and hoop shoot - and with the GamePad’s motion control and touch interface, mastering these will be an even more enriching experience.
