Summary
Dragons are quite feisty beings. They can pack quite a wallop. If you want proof, look at the world of Barrilian, which has had a pretty big dragon problem for some time now. For one small village, the assault from the hordes of fire-breathing creatures has meant devastation and chaos. Pillaged and burnt to a crisp, everybody perished save for two babies - one recovered by the dragons, and the other by a mage...
Dungeon Gate takes place some 20 years after this incident, where the people of Barrilian have been taken over by a vicious tyrant bent on control of the land. This bad guy has forced most into slavery without question, thanks to his influence over the dragons. That makes him a rather powerful enemy - and with the mining of precious magical stones, his power grows even stronger by the day.
But there is one person who has the potential to change everything. His name is Dysan, and he can use magical skills to drain the DNA of those he meets in Barrilian, be they human or creature. You control Dysan, using these powers, to face the tyrant and shape the world for good! Use the DNA draining ability to alter the course of the story, solve puzzles and overcome obstacles to reach your goal!
