Summary

Fans of Family Guy must get into a right pickle when they’re asked what their favourite episode is. Some may say that the Season 8 opener, Road to Multiverse, is one of the finest scripts that the team have ever written. Series creator Seth MacFarlane certainly seems to think highly of it. So it’s only natural that Activision and the Family Guy writing talent would return to the idea for this game.

Back to the Multiverse is an expansion of that popular TV episode, featuring an all-new original narrative that continues to poke fun at the multiple universes that Brian and Stewie travel through. You can play as either dog or baby, each with unique weapons and abilities, and do battle with other Family Guy characters to thwart the plans of Stewie’s evil twin, Bertram.

Bertram has returned and wants to destroy Quahog, you see. And he’ll be doing it in a variety of different ways, thanks to the Multiverse concept. This third-person action game can be played in either single-player or co-op multiplayer - but of course, friends can be foes too, as there’s a substantial competitive mode included in the game. Fight to stay alive in various multiplayer levels, all with a distinct Family Guy twist and sense of humour.
