LittleBigPlanet Karting is the latest ‘Play.Create.Share’ title in the Media Molecule franchise that allows you to create your own Sackboy (or Sackgirl) and compete in crazy racing challenges.
Developed by United Front Games - which cut its teeth on the popular ModNation Racers - this is a game that truly brings Sackboy’s material world to life in 3D. Speeding through cardboard forests and patchwork ocean bays offers a completely new way to experience Media Molecule’s wacky and delightful world.
And the gameplay on offer aims to be just as satisfying, with the usual Grand Prixs and kart battles joining more adventurous modes such as objective-based missions and even mini-games. Try manning a monster truck in a top-down perspective as you rampage through a city landscape, mashing up cars. That’s far from the experience you usually get from the average cartoon racer!
As you would expect, all of the customisation options that you’re familiar with in LittleBigPlanet returns in Karting - right down to the Popit Menu! Creating tracks, adding custom race rules and classic Sackboy modification has never felt so accessible and fun.
