Summary
We’ve all heard of Santa Claus. The Easter Bunny. Sandman. Jack Frost. But what do you think happens when these mythical characters aren’t helping us celebrate various holidays of the year? Well, they’re clubbing together and saving the world from fantastical tyranny, of course! It would be a pretty boring existence for them, otherwise.
The Rise of the Guardians video game is, as you would expect, tied to the Hollywood animated movie of the same name, and hinges on a premise that sees classic childhood heroes such as Santa Claus (known as North in the film), the Tooth Fairy (Tooth), the Easter Bunny (Bunnymund), Sandman and Jack Frost all work together to destroy a common evil.
Players can take control of any of these legends, who each have their own set of upgradeable and extraordinary abilities that will allow you to beat the nightmares of the evil spirit known as ‘Pitch’ and stop his plans for good. As you play, you can unlock new powers and special moves, and you can work with friends to power up your skills together.
