Summary

Following the previous Grotesque Tactics game, the sequel (Grotesque Tactics 2: Dungeons & Donuts) begins this strategy role-playing adventure with the good people of the Kingdom of Glory in the catacombs of their defeated enemies celebrate their own hard-won victory.

The party is, of course, short-lived as an all-encompassing fog arrives and pulls some of the revellers into oblivion. The survivors are forced to remain where they are as time passes and food becomes scarce. From these survivors The Knights of Glory emerge. They are nasty mercenaries, they and the arrogant high elves band into guilds and begin a struggle for food, survival and escape. This is not a collaborative effort... the guilds hate each other. However, while they battle it out, a dark and evil force is arising... below them.

This second game in the series comes with a reworked visual and graphical style. Also in the mix are a new character creation system as well as a brand new levelling system with talent trees, quest logs.

For gamers who enjoyed and invested themselves in the original, however, the new story does retain the services of the cast including the star, Drake (complete with amnesia), and the jive-talking Deacon from that first game.
