Summary

AiAi and friends return in a new game on a new platform as Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz brings classic rolling fun to Sony's PlayStation Vita.

At first glance, this is a simple game whereby motion and inertia are used to guide the cartoony creatures around grids, along edges and around courses in their quests and mini-game challenges for the lucious yellow prizes beloved of simians everywhere.

Joining AiAi are his fellow monkey pals, MeeMee, Baby and GonGon as they race and roll in their quest to collect bananas

The game is not a port or a case of old made new, it has been exclusively designed to make best use of the PlayStation Vita's unique functions. This means that the game makes huge use of the motion-based controls and both the dual analog sticks and the front/back-touch controls.

There are all-new, HD worlds in which to play out a host of original mini-games that can be taken on locally on the handheld console or by challenging up to four friends using the Wi-Fi enabled multiplayer modes.

Also included in the package are re-rendered and re-imagined classic game modes such as Monkey Target.
