Summary

Gameplay can be carried out both in co-operation with friends online or competitively. Basic play entails the use of making and trading items. However, with the use of quests there is also the chance to level up.
At heart, however, Age of Empires Online is all about classic RTS gameplay where mighty empires rise and fall depending on the skill of the player. As well as combat this means that the gamers must manage resources, and earn rewards.
The constantly evolving environment will see gamers battling and questing their way into richly delivered worlds populated by NPCs such as villagers and warriors. They will also encounter historically-themed architecture.
Age of Empires Online also offers the chance to purchase more content as the game evolves.
