Summary
A lot of games focus on historical World War experiences from the perspective of the ground troops. Air Conflicts: Secret Wars takes you on a journey through the many conflicts that took place in both World Wars, but from the angle of the air forces.
This is no simulation in gameplay however - Air Conflicts: Secret Wars with an arcade-style affair that is accessible to play and yet respects the nuances and historical accuracy of the planes. You can jump into more than 16 types of aircraft from WW1 and WW2, such as the Sopwith Camel, Messerschmitt BF109 and the Spitfire. You can even fly in secret prototypes like the Bolchowitinow BI-3, Gloster Meteor fighter jet and the Horten HIX.
Once in the cockpit, you can engage in one of seven campaigns and 49 missions that take you through the danger zone and across Europe. Patrolling, stealth, hit and run, escort and bombing objectives can all be found in the extensive campaign mode.
24 real-world inspired maps such are included, such as Berlin, Belgrade, Slovakia and Tobruk - and you’ll be tested to your limit as each country contains specific missions that require a different set of skills and competence to overcome.
Multiplayer modes aplenty in Air Conflicts: Secret Wars too, with eight-player Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Capture the Flag and Destroy & Protect modes all allowing you to connect with your friends online and engage in historical warfare!
