Where would we be without a new FIFA Manager? Rudderless that's where.
Developed by Bright Future this is full update to the previous version of the football management sim from EA Sports. In this version, the gamer still gets to manage a team from England, France, Germany (top three divisions), Italy, Poland, Spain, Austria or Switzerland, but new elements have been added. These are:
Live Season in which the gamer gets up-to-date info on League results and key match events, results from various cups, player form, injuries, player stats regarding matches played, goals and cards.
Team Control, in which you control your players as they compete in full 3D. This is an add-on mode that's free if you've registered FIFA 11 on PC.
There is also a fanpack – also free to registered owners of FIFA 11 on PC. This includes over 2,000 additional player pictures, 15 extra desktop backgrounds, one exclusive desktop item, an extra 36 individually customised tournament themes covering 45 different competitions and over 50 new stadium pictures.
Finally, there is EA Sports' Premium Online Account which includes action items, with which you swap Manager Points for Action items to improve player performance. There's the avatar editor - as the name suggests, use this to add even more to your manager's avatar. Then there's 'Host Fantasy League', in which you set up your own league and invite your pals to compete using your rules. Also available are additional stats, these include transfers, team levels, best rated players, most expensive squads, foreign players, injuries, player fairness, salaries/market values, stadium capacities, and an extended player search.
