Summary

Experience the freedom of finally being able to play everything that you can imagine - with Music Maker: RockStar, your guitar controller behaves like a genuine instrument.

But before you start freestyle rocking, you need to choose your favourite guitar! 5 basic guitar models are available, from the simple acoustic strummer to a heavily distorted electric axe with amplifiers on overdrive. Music Maker: RockStar doesn't just let you play different guitar models with the guitar controller – you can also record everything and combine the different guitars with each other!

With Music Maker: RockStar, everyone who owns a guitar controller accepts an entirely new kind of challenge – and it won't be easy! When you're play freestyle you get no assistance, but everything is recorded. If you make a mistake, then you'll be able to hear it - along with everyone else. The experience is just like with a real guitar. Concentration and a lot of practice will make you into a real freestyle legend.

The sound can be changed with the strum bar and the whammy bar, letting you easily switch between fast riffs, slower chord sequences, and individual sounds. As you'd expect, the coloured buttons on the neck of the guitar control the pitch.

Music Maker: RockStar transforms your living room into a complete virtual studio! Over 4,000 sounds are waiting to be used via the guitar controller during your recording sessions. Rocking drums, warm basses, crystal clear pianos, and brutal strings included. The best part is that you decide for yourself how your rock song is composed. While the guitar controller is responsible for your recordings, you can use the normal PS2 controller in the studio to specify your sounds and effects in more detail.

The BeatBox and sampler provide two essential studio tools for creating beats and designing your own guitar riffs. Build the ultimate rock groove for your guitar controller solo. Develop uncompromising, innovative riffs. Polish your sound, and then turn it up.

To top it all off, you have a USB microphone at home, then you can use it to record your own vocals directly in Music Maker: RockStar: Just connect the mic to the console and anyone can sing into it. It's a great way to add that certain special something to your own rock songs, not to mention lots of fun and laughs in your living room.

You supply the guital controller, USB mics and poodle rock wig, and Music Maker: RockStar will take care of the rest. Rock on!
