Summary

Metal Slug is back! The run-and-gun platformer has an extremely loyal cult fanbase for its off-the-wall shooting action. And now on the PlayStation Portable Metal Slug XX aims to bring back the crazy coin-op into the 21st Century.

The story has never been important in a Metal Slug game, but here it is anyway; General Morden has been defeated and captured, but a mysterious army from the future appears to save him. This army happens to be the Mars People – a group of soldiers that will end up being led by Morden in the future. They've come back in time to give the General a bit of a technological leg-up.

Shoot, jump and bomb your way through General Morden's new and improved Rebel Army and put an end to this nonsense.

Along with the arcade action comes a multiplayer experience that lets you grab a friend for 2-player co-operative play via the PSP's wireless ad-hoc mode. And with three difficulty modes and six playable characters, you'll be coming back to this game to see all of its secrets. Especially since the seven stages have multiple diverging paths...
