Summary

Fantasy combat-based adventure is coming back in a big way, and Knights Contract is tackling a mythical era where witches are considered highly dangerous and hunts continue around the world for their execution. However, rather than it all being a bunch of superstitious paranoia, in this world such spell-casting female temptresses exist.

You follow the footsteps of Heinrich, a witch executioner with a name only reserved for total beefcakes. He’s ‘assisted’ by a young girl named Gretchen - she used to be a witch in a past life and has come back to put a curse on Heinrich after he beheaded her. Eye for an eye, and all that.

But it’s a good kind of curse. Honestly. See, the world’s being threatened by some kind of unknown, supernatural evil force, and Gretchen doesn’t exactly have the patience to be killed a second time. So along with Heinrich’s sheer grunt, you have the power to use fearsome magical attacks to curb the bloodlust of hordes of enemy creatures.

As you would expect from a game of this genre, your road to victory lies in the seemingly endless pounding of enemy forces into the ground using a multitude of combination attacks. Kill the source of the evil, and spare the world of its complete destruction.
