SpongeBob Squarepants Boating Bash - DS/DSi

SpongeBob may have the benefit of being a sponge that lives under the sea, but the ocean is a pretty vast place. There's not an awful lot to do either, besides head into the Krusty Krab for some food. It's probably the reason our squishy yellow hero keeps going on these adventures and inventing all of these activities to keep him busy.

This latest one, Boating Bash, sees you control SpongeBob as he attempts to get his boating license. He's tricked by a shady shark into taking a course in driving, only to be taught the wrong way to obey underwater traffic laws. Chaos obviously ensues, as you're dragged with the sponge into a fast-paced demolition derby style racer that holds nothing back.

At its heart, SpongeBob Boating Bash is a multiplayer affair, which is good news because the game features pick up and play game mechanics for two-four players, in either single-card or multi-card play. The aim is to be the last one standing after taking on a barrage of wacky track hazards and power ups.

You can customise your boatmobile in over 100 different ways too, which will make you stand out from the crowd. If you have a Nintendo DSi, you can even choose a background take a photo and decorate it with a boatload of accessories.
